| Jomsum has few vehicles, but a small airstrip. From there, one can hike north up the Kali Gandaki, into Mustang, also called the Land of Lo. The Kali Gandaki is considered the deepest gorge in the world, a broad canyon situated between the Annapurna Range and Dhaulagiri. The north side of the Himalayas is very dry country, and cold. |
